The kick mat does protect your seat, but they really should have put a clip on the bottom securing strap (its elastic you work down the seat) and a large pocket at the bottom would have been great

I highly recommend getting these if you have small children. My son is 3 and we just bought a new vehicle. After the first 2 days of having the vehicle I noticed that the back of my chair was filthy. He had been resting his feet on the back of my seat. These were a great fix to our problem. I also love that they have pockets on them. The price was also really good too!

I use this for my Rear facing baby, I just put it on the back of the seat and tuck it down to where the carseat meets the seat and it works fine but it folds and bows out in the middle at the top and needs to be adjusted constantly to make the pockets functional at all. Its a good, durable product and I would buy it again 100 times because it keeps my seat clean and that's what its there for! The pockets are perfect for all the hair bows and binkies that accumulate in the day to day travels :)
